A Note On Returning

After more than a decade in practice and a transformative two-year maternity leave to welcome my third child, I return with gratitude and a renewed sense of purpose. The past few years have taught me patience, reshaped my identity, and revealed the quiet strength gained from navigating the layers of parenthood in today’s world.

As a clinical psychologist, I believe that growth and healing happen in the context of real life; our relationships, families, and evolving sense of self. Becoming a mother to three unique children has deepened my empathy for the transitions many parents and professionals face: balancing ambition with care, work with home, partnership with independence, and exhaustion with joy.

I support parents, professionals, and couples seeking clarity; whether you’re returning to work, redefining identity, navigating relationship changes, or seeking to feel more grounded in everyday life.

My practice remains rooted in warmth, cultural sensitivity, and evidence-based care, blending psychology, neuroscience, and a holistic approach to human connection.

Now accepting new clients, virtually throughout New York.

ACHEIVING BALANCE

'Life Is A Balance Between Holding On And Letting Go and Knowing When.'

In one of the most diverse, competitive, and achievement orientated communities on the planet, I work to help my clients live a balanced life, whatever that may mean to them.
As an immigrant, an achievement-driven professional, a working mother, and wife, I understand the challenges that come from living and working in New York.
Inspired by influential humanistic psychologist, Carl Rogers, my treatment approach is grounded in trust and transparency as I work with my clients to balance their self image and self worth to discover their best selves.
Quoting the great Persian poet Rumi, who said, ‘Life Is A Balance Between Holding On And Letting Go and Knowing When’ I help my clients to recognize when to let go.
I apply empathy, embrace radical acceptance, and provide highly practical and personalized tools to help my clients develop their sense of knowing, find their unique balance, and stay at the top of their game.
As they find their balance, I work with them to maintain it, build on it, and manage the life stressors and achievement anxieties that so many high performing professionals or artists confront daily.

MY APPROACH

At some point in life, everyone finds themselves out of sorts, a little off-balance, struggling to cope with what they usually take in their stride. Across life’s rich tapestry, we can also find ourselves in periods when depression and anxiety emerge seemingly out of nowhere.
The reasons can vary. From encountering challenges with people at work, to dealing with our inner fears, letting go of the past, to losing motivation or the will to keep going after the impact of a dysfunctional relationship; they are common occurrences, and treatable with the right support, tools, and time.
If you are reading this, you have taken the first practical step to self-care. If you want to learn more about why you feel the way you do and get yourself back on track, you’ll find all the tools you need in my safe, supportive, and caring environment.

What my patients say

Getting started

Successful and effective therapy is grounded in trust, honesty, and transparency. To this end, I encourage all my clients to start with a one-hour consultation session where you can decide whether my approach is right for you, and I can assess whether I can provide the support and tools you need. Just request an appointment, and we can set up our consultative session.
